Both lanes are blocked on the A12 outside Ipswich after a crash involving a lorry and a car.
Officers were called to the collision, on the southbound carriageway near to the Seven Hills roundabout for Felixstowe, at about 11am on Tuesday.
The car is blocking the middle of the road, while the lorry has crashed into a hedge.
Both lanes are blocked as a result of the crash.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said no injuries have been reported.
According to the AA Traffic Map, there is heavy traffic in the area.
