The body of a female has been discovered at a property in Ipswich.

Police are currently at the scene of the suspicious death in Sidegate Lane.

Officers were called to the home at about 11.45am on Friday, and upon entering the property discovered a female's body.

A spokesperson for Suffolk police said: "Further enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident."
