Suffolk's county town of Ipswich put on the style to mark this year's Suffolk Day celebrations.
And it was the historic Cornhill which was at the heart of events as it was visited by hundreds of people to take part in the annual jamboree to honour the county.
The participants who showed up in the early morning had a chance to watch an Army Air Corps parade that took place along Carr Street and moved towards Cornhill.

An address was also made from the steps of the Town Hall by the Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, Clare, Countess of Euston.
A proclamation was then read out by Year Nine and Ten students from Chantry Academy.

In the late morning, the Suffolk Medals were awarded to two people who have made a fundamental and lasting difference to the county, presented by the Suffolk Community Foundation.
The ceremony was rounded off by an Apache Helicopter flypast, with Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council pulling out all the stops for the momentous occasion.
The residents were then invited to sing the national anthem, followed by a Parade of Standards from the Royal British Legion and the band of The Royal Hospital School.
The parade made its way towards Westgate.
The celebration was concluded with a reception at the town hall hosted by the mayor of Ipswich, Lynne Mortimer.
Cllr Mortimer said: "As Suffolk’s County town, we are honoured to host Suffolk Day celebrations this year.
"It is a day for us to celebrate freedom, diversity and the strong community spirit at the heart of our town."
Ipswich MP Tom Hunt and eight students from Chantry Academy also hosted a Suffolk Day proclamation in Westminster Hall at Parliament.
MP Hunt said: "Suffolk Day celebrates landscapes, heritage, community groups and organisations across Suffolk.
"I was greatly looking forward to welcoming local students and MPs to Westminster for this significant occasion."
The annual event takes place on the longest day of the year since its launch by former radio stalwart Mark Murphy in 2016.
Suffolk Day has been a staple in the calendars of the county's residents ever since and has been hosted by towns across Suffolk, including Framlingham, Felixstowe and Clare.
