An Apache helicopter flypast will take place over Ipswich today to celebrate Suffolk Day.
Just before 10am today the iconic helicopters will fly over the town centre to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Suffolk Day.
Before the flypast Suffolk Medals will be awarded to two people who have made a fundamental and lasting difference to the county, presented by the Suffolk Community Foundation.

Everyone will then be invited to sing the national anthem, followed by a Parade of Standards from the Royal British Legion and the band of The Royal Hospital School.
The parade will make its way towards Westgate.
