An application has been made to install an automated car wash and electric vehicle charging points, next to a busy Ipswich junction.
The application has been made to be put up on Greyfriars Road, next to the Star Lane Roundabouts and Cardinal Park.
It would mean a tunnel carwash would be built, along with six electric vehicle charging points, and space for two parking bays.
The application would make use of the space on the green, and the dead-end road with the car wash using a one-way system.
