Fresh proposals have been submitted for a small housing development in a village near Ipswich.
Phil Cobbold Planning Ltd has submitted plans for five homes in Hintlesham on behalf of the applicants to Babergh District Council.
The scheme comprises of three two-storey homes and two single-storey houses on land off George Street, close to Hintlesham & Chattisham Church of England Primary School.
A previous planning application for the site was approved by the district council, but work has not started.
The new plans said: "The development would meet the social role of sustainable development by providing new family homes in an area where there is a general demand for more housing.
"The development of the site would also accord with the environmental role of sustainable development as the site is within walking distance of local amenities in the village.
"The site is also within walking distance of bus stops which provide a regular and frequent bus service to Ipswich and Sudbury."
They added: "Clearly, the previous planning permission for the erection of five dwellings on the site is a material consideration.
"Since that earlier decision, there has been no material change in the circumstances of the site."
