These pictures were taken by two drone operators who captured the railway during one of its opening days this spring.

The pictures show the existing operating line which runs from Brockford and Wetheringsett to Dovebrook - and also of the new line that is taking shape heading east towards its new station.

Although the track was laid in the winter, there is still work to do before trains can run - and a Parliamentary Bill has to be passed to allow it to travel over a public footpath.

It is hoped that the first public trains could run on the new section of track at the start of the 2024 season - that will bring the line's length up to nearly 1km.
