A temporary speed limit was put in force on the Orwell Bridge, near Ipswich, after a serious crash almost a month ago - but when will it end?
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the crash on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 on the bridge just after 11am on Tuesday, May 9.
According to Suffolk police, the crash involved a lorry and a car.
The lorry crossed the central reservation from westbound to eastbound, forcing the road to be closed in both directions.
A temporary speed limit has been put in place while repair works are carried out.
National Highways initially said the 40mph speed limit would be in place for two weeks after the crash.
However, they have since given an update on when the temporary speed limit will be reduced.
A spokesman for National Highways said: "The central barrier is scheduled for repair on June 15, and this is expected to take around seven days. Once the work is complete, the temporary speed restriction - which has been in place since the barrier was badly damaged during a collision involving an HGV on May 9 - is expected to be lifted.
"Due to the complexity of the repair, specialist parts were needed which has meant the temporary speed restriction has remained in place for a number of weeks. This has been for the safety of those using the bridge and we appreciate road users patience while this issue is resolved.”
