A band formed in Ipswich is hoping to keep up their single success with their latest song after their debut single attracted thousands of streams on Spotify.
Afterdrive formed early last year and released their first single, Stick Around, on February 24.
The song received instant success, amassing over 7,000 streams on Spotify in just two weeks.
Now, the song is on 23,095 streams in just over two months, and the band has 1,931 monthly listeners, with people from Sao Paulo and Mexico City listening regularly to their music.
The four-piece is made up of members aged between 17 and 21, with three of the members meeting at One Sixth Form College.
The group said: "We are so grateful for the support Stick Around received.
"As our first release, we had no idea what would happen.
"It's been great having the track out, it's exceeded all our expectations in every way.
"Hearing it sung back at us during our live gigs and meeting new people who love the track has been an amazing experience."
On May 26, Afterdrive will release its second single, 99, which is one of the earliest songs made by the band.
They continued: "99 is one of the first songs we wrote together and we love playing it.
"It's got more of a pop sound to it than Stick Around, but feels like the perfect track for the summer.
"We can't wait to hear what you think of it, and there are many more songs to come."
The song will be released on all streaming platforms, and is released in time for the band's biggest gig to date in June.
They will perform on the Cornhill Stage at the Brighten The Corners Festival on June 9 and 10.
