A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car on the A14.
Emergency services were called to the A14 at the junction with Nacton at about 5.25pm on Tuesday.
The ambulance service also attended the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time said a police spokesman.
The road was fully reopened by 6.30pm.
