One lane has reopened on The Orwell Bridge after a serious two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway of the A14 just after 11am.
According to Suffolk police, the crash involved a lorry and a car.
The lorry crossed the central reservation from westbound to eastbound.

On Twitter, Suffolk police urged motorists to avoid the Orwell Bridge and the surrounding area.
Motorists are advised to avoid the Orwell Bridge and surrounding area as an RTC has led to the closure of both carriageways. The incident happened just after 11am and significant delays expected.

At about 1pm, Suffolk police provided an update stating that both lanes of the eastbound carriageway would remain closed while one lane westbound is open.
Update & clarification: #A14 at #OrwellBridge - eastbound carriageway BOTH lanes will now remain closed - one lane westbound remains open. This is to allow structural checks and repairs by @HighwaysEAST

Police said this is to allow structural checks and repairs to take place.
At about 2.45pm, police confirmed that one lane would also open in the eastbound carriageway.
