A popular Suffolk seaside town has been named as one of the UK's favourite coastal spots.
National newspaper The Guardian canvassed its readers for their favourite towns on the coast, and Felixstowe came out in second.
The popular beach was recognised for being “prosperous without being pretentious” by its readers.
A number of its most favoured attractions, including Mannings Amusements, Landguard Fort and the seafront gardens, were also highlighted.
"There are also historic beach huts, gentle cliffs and the blue-flag south beach to enjoy," its readers added.
Felixstowe was also named one of the best places to live in the East of England in March.
The coastal town was named in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide alongside Dedham.
