A man from Ipswich has set himself the challenge of completing 100 push-ups every day this month, to help raise money and awareness for MNDA.
Gareth Jones lost his mum in 2019 due to Motor Neurone Disease after a two-year battle with it.
As a result, Mr Jones decided he wanted to take on this challenge again for the MNDA, as "it was tough to actually watch, and not know you can do anything about it."
He has done this challenge before, in 2021, but the target was only 1,000 push-ups over the month.
The 45-year-old dad said: "I am definitely finding this one a lot harder.
"Back when I did my previous one, I was training four or five times a week.
"Over the last 12 months, it has been tricky to do that with kids and other things, so I am only just starting to train back up again.
"I'm hoping that it will get easier to do 100 every day, and have my kids that like to count me doing it.
"They used to jump on me when I did the challenge two years ago and climb all over me which I could do at the time, if they did it now, I think it would be a different story."
Mr Jones' sister is also trying to raise money and awareness for MND by doing a wing walk with a friend.
He said: "We are just going to try and help keep the dream alive that there is a cure one day.
"If I can raise even £500, anything to put in the pot to help people who need it, then that would be great."
Mr Jones has set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for the charity, which can be found here.
