A young woman has died following a crash in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services were called at 12.37am this morning, April 29, to reports that a vehicle had crashed in Thornhill Road.
Police officers, the fire service and ambulance crews were all in attendance.
The passenger, a teenage woman, died at the scene.
The driver, a teenage woman, was taken to Ipswich Hospital with serious injuries.
These are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Thornhill Road was closed for several hours while a collision investigation took place.
It has now reopened.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision.
They are also asking anyone else who was driving in the area prior to the incident and has a dashcam to review footage for anything that may be of assistance.
