Firefighters have contained a blaze that broke out in an Ipswich takeaway.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at 9pm last night to Upper Orwell Street.
There were 10 crews sent to the scene, including three engines from Ipswich East, two from Woodbridge, two from Princes Street.
They were assisted by crews from Holbrook, Needham Market, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and Elmswell.
Suffolk fire service released pictures of the crews battling the blaze just after midnight.
A spokesman said: "Crews worked hard to contain the fire and minimise damage and at its height we had five fire engines plus an aerial appliance and command support vehicle in attendance
"Control received calls to the above location reporting a building fire. When in attendance, crews requested additional resources as ground floor and first floor of building affected. Police attended for traffic control."
The fire service began scaling back crews shortly after midnight.
Altogether 10 breathing apparatus, four jets, three hose reel jets, aerial ladder platform and short extension ladder when tackling the fire.
A crew remained in attendance for watching brief.
