The winners of a photography competition that celebrates Ipswich's culture, heritage and history have been announced.
'My Ipswich Photography Competition' was organised by All About Ipswich and Ipswich Borough Council and was open from February 20 to March 31.
Residents were asked to submit their photography in up to four categories: Ipswich town centre – buildings, Ipswich town centre – people, Ipswich Waterfront – buildings and Ipswich Waterfront – people.
The winner of each category will receive a £500 Ipswich Gift Card, and four runners-up will receive a £250 Ipswich Gift Card.
The first 300 submissions also received a £20 Ipswich Gift Card.
The winner of the Ipswich town centre – buildings category is Rue Hackett.
The runners-up are: Akshay S Prakash, Mark Scutt, Peter Ling and Mark Smith.
The winner of the Ipswich town centre – people category is Nicholas Flores.
The runners-up are: Rue Hackett, Aaron Vince, James Elms and Laura Maksvytyte.
The winner of the Ipswich Waterfront – buildings category is Simon Fairchild.
The runners-up are: Roger Seaman, Jenny Maltby, Parrish Colman and Samantha Sherman.
The winner of the Ipswich Waterfront – people category is Lewis White.
The runners-up are: Laura Maksvytyte, John Lanagan, Rue Hackett and Lewis White.
