A man has been arrested for assault during an Ipswich Town match.
Police have taken the man into custody after an incident following Ipswich Town's first goal against Peterborough United today (April 22).

Taking to Twitter, Peterborough United said: "The football club can confirm that a gentleman was arrested by police following an incident after the first goal scored by Ipswich Town this afternoon.
"There is no place in the game for incidents like that. The club would like to thank the police for swiftly dealing with it."
Cambridgeshire Constabulary also Tweeted to confirm the man had been taken into custody on suspicion of assault.
