A popular Ipswich café has announced plans to host an 'art boot sale' that will feature almost 200 pieces for customers to browse through.
Applaud Coffee in St Peter's Street will showcase work from 10 artists - all of whom have submitted around 20 pieces each.
The event, which will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, April 14, has been set up in a bid to provide an opportunity for local artists.

Hannah Huntly, one of the owners of Applaud and a keen artist herself, said: "All work for sale on the night will be at a reduced price, because the Art Boot Sale is the opportunity for our local artists to have a studio tidy up and sell discontinued prints, artist proofs, and work from past exhibitions – a “Studio Spring Clean!”
Tickets must be purchased in advance at £8 a person via Applaud Coffee's website.
Work will be showcased from: Aime K Studio, Dale Devereux Barker, Frankie Rose Illustration, HH Studio, Hannah Farthing, Hannah Tooke, Inky and the bears, Joel Millerchip, Pop print Studio, Samantha Barnes
