A Suffolk park has been named one of the best free parks to visit with kids this Easter.

Many people will be flocking to parks and green spaces for as a source of entertainment and relaxation over the long weekend.

Among those is Christchurch Park in Ipswich, which has been named one of the top 10 free parks to visit with kids by ParrotPrint.com. 

The Ipswich beauty spot came in sixth place, with the photography experts highlighting its various facilities and tranquility.

Parents can keep their kids entertained with various sporting activities, including table tennis or tennis, or let them burn their energy in the fun play area. 

"The horticultural gem is known for its tranquil setting, with formal gardens and bedding displays blossoming with the likes of roses and shrubs," said a spokesperson for ParrotPrint.com. 

They also pointed to the range of wildlife and variety of birds which can be spotted around the park.
