More than 2,500 people joined a colourful celebration of life that happened in Ipswich last weekend.
Families came together to celebrate Holi, the Hindu festival of colour, in Alexandra Park on Sunday, April 2.
Holi marks the arrival of spring and the end of winter.
The colourful festival aims to provide fun with dancing, singing, and throwing powder paint and coloured water.
Holi also celebrates the Hindu god Krishna and the legend of Holika and Prahlad.
The organisers of the festival in Alexandra Park provided food, a roaring bonfire, henna hand painting, and one big Holi paint fight.
Dancers from the Ipswich-based dance company Flytoez surprised the participants with a Bollywood dance mob.
The event was organised by the Ipswich & Suffolk Indian Association, a not-for-profit community group, that has been providing information and support to the Indian community in Suffolk for more than 30 years.
Thousands of residents also attended the Indian Summer Mela that took place in Christchurch Park in July 2022.
The day included live entertainment, Bollywood music, spectacular dance performances, a vibrant market, and a mouth-watering Indian food village.
