One lane of the A14 was closed following a crash between a van and a lorry near Ipswich.
Orwell Bridge was partially blocked this morning, April 4, with long delays reported on the westbound carriageway.
There was heavy traffic building in both directions from Wherstead to Nacton.
There were delays of around 25 minutes with an average speed of 5mph.
Both lanes reopened at around 11.30am.
Another crash was reported near the Orwell Bridge on Monday afternoon.
