Ipswich is to receive two visitors in the summer, when two anti-knife and violence sculptures pitch up.
As part of the National Youth Anti-Violence Tour, the Knife Angel, made up of over 100,000 siezed knives from 43 police constabularies, will come to Ipswich throughout August 2023.
The Anti-Violence Bee, made up of knives and firearms, is then set to visit Ipswich in September.
The Knife Angel, which stands at 27 feet tall, was created to highlight the negative effects of violent behaviour.
It was created by sculptor Alfie Bradley, and is the UK's most travelled monument.
The bee was created in Manchester to highlight the city's stance against all forms of violence.
The Knife Angel will be in Ipswich for 30 days and will be used for educational workshops and programmes for young people, as well as a sculpture for people to admire.
Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk Police Constabulary are noted down on the British Iron Work Centre website as the hosts.
The exact location of the monuments are still unknown.
