A new coffee shop is opening in Ipswich Town Hall this week.
The new Moments Coffee Shop will officially open its doors on Friday, March 24, at 10am.
The coffee shop is to be run by Suffolk hospice charity St Elizabeth Hospice, which already has a presence in the town with a cafe and community hub on Heath Road and an e-commerce hub on Bramford Road.
The new coffee shop follows the success of Moments Coffee in Stowmarket, which opened in May last year, as well as the Ipswich Heath Road cafe, which has been open since March 2019.
The plans for the Town Hall have been in the works since July last year, and the charity says all funds raised will go towards the charity.
The new shop is expected to serve all the familiar coffee shop favourites, including jacket potatoes, toasties, cakes, and a range of hot drinks.
The charity has been looking for keen volunteers to help run the cafe, with flexible shifts, and is still advertising the vacancy on its website.
