An Ipswich Westie has completed his 250th parkrun, racking up the equivalent of running from Ipswich to Wales twice.
West Highland Terrier Henry completed his 250th parkrun on Saturday, March 18, meaning he has run 1,250km.
Henry's owner, Mike Thompson, said: "My wife Kirsty and children James and Lara are so proud of the little fella.
"His legs are only six inches long and when you add up his park runs, that's the equivalent of running from Ipswich to Wales and back."
According to Mr Thompson, Henry wakes up on Saturday morning and waits at the door ready to start at 9am.
"He howls if you ever try to leave without him," he added.
At eight years old, Henry has been a regular runner for six years and takes part in the weekly event at Chantry Park, Ipswich.
Mr Thompson added: "The next milestone for him is 500 parkruns, but that may be slightly ambitious given that Henry is now eight.
"But we will just keep going until he wants to stop!"
