There are currently delays of about 30 minutes on the A14 near Ipswich this morning after a broken down vehicle close to the Orwell Bridge.
Officers were called to the broken down Range Rover in the eastbound carriageway at about 6.45am on Tuesday.
The car is blocking lane one of the carriageway just before the Nacton turn off.
In a tweet National Highways has said one lane is currently closed and there is currently approximately six and a hlaf miles of congestion, which is causing delays of about 30 minutes.
Queues are building back to the Copdock Interchange.
