An 85-year-old man who was reported missing from a Suffolk village has been found in west London.
George Houghton was last seen at about 7.30am on Wednesday at his home in Trimley St Martin.
The 85-year-old left the village in his car - a gold Renault Scenic - with the intention to visit Wantage in Oxfordshire.
Police then believe Mr Houghton was involved in a crash on the M4 in the Hounslow area of west London.
A spokesman for Suffolk police has since confirmed that Mr Houghton was found on Thursday in the Ealing area of west London.
The spokesman thanked members of the public for helping with their appeal.
