Ten Suffolk locations have featured on an annual list which named the top 250 places to live in England.
The list by Muddy Stilettos, which compiles cities, towns and villages, is designed to be an insider guide to prospective house buyers looking to relocate.
Here are the 10 best places to live in Suffolk:
Framlingham
Home to the iconic castle on the hill Framlingham is an ancient market town.
Framlingham was also recently named one of the most beautiful places to live in the county by estate agents.
Alexander McNab, part of the residential sales team at Savills Suffolk said: "There are some excellent restaurants – the Italian Watson and Walpole, which is in both the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide, is one of my favourites and has perhaps the tastiest tiramisu I’ve ever had."
Southwold
The coastal town is home to one of the best beaches in the UK.
According to the Muddy Stilettos Southwold makes people feel like they are on holiday everyday.
The town is home to a number of great pubs and eateries including LOADED which recently opened its doors in December.
Aldeburgh
Home to one of the best restaurants in the UK Aldeburgh was also named as one of the best places to live in England.
The seaside town's smart local high street and access to Suffolk's quiet lifestyle was highlighted by the Muddy Stilettos.
Sudbury
Sudbury was recognised for its "historic town setting" and the "miles of tranquil riverside walks right on your doorstep".
The town's charm was praised and its history with artists Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable points to it being an area of natural beauty.
Woodbridge
Sitting on the edge of the River Deben east of Ipswich, Woodbridge is a vibrant and pretty town surrounded by the best that the Suffolk countryside has to offer.
Across the river from the town is Sutton Hoo, an Anglo-Saxon burial ground and National Trust site where visitors can uncover the history of the area they live in.
Saxmundham
Saxmundham, which recently featured in The Sunday Times's annual list of star locations has also been named one of the best places to live in England.
The town has good transport links on the A12 and the rail network.
It is also home to one of the best new hotels in the UK.
Long Melford
One of the prettiest villages in Suffolk is Long Melford home to a number of pubs and tearooms including some that have only recently just opened like Ivy and Bond, which was opened in memory of a dad who died after an 18 month battle with cancer.
The village was praised as one of Suffolk's "most attractive villages" thanks to its long high street filled with independent shops and eateries as well as the beautiful walks that can be enjoyed in and around the area.
Bury St Edmunds
Home to the Abbey Gardens Bury St Edmunds is full of history and full of independent shops.
Bury St Edmunds is also becoming a foodie destination for people in Suffolk with a number of restaurants, cafes and tearooms.
Hadleigh
Recently named as one of the best places to live in the UK Hadleigh is a popular choice among those moving to the county.
There are also a number of peaceful walks that you can go on throughout the town one of them is located inside the 11-acre Local Nature Reserve in Hadleigh.
The two-mile stroll is completely off-road and is flanked by ancient trees with far-stretching views over the Stour Valley, making it the perfect place for a moment of reflection.
Beccles
Found in the Waveney valley, Beccles is the perfect base for those who want to get as much out of Suffolk and Norfolk as they can thanks to the town's ideal location.
Beccles is also home to some of the best sausage rolls in the county.
