A teenager who admitted threatening a man with a knife in his home will be sentenced in April.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday was 18-year-old Freya Hoey, of Back Hamlet, Ipswich.
She had previously pleaded not guilty to an offence of aggravated burglary in St Andrew’s Place, Melton, with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm on November 16, 2022.
The teenager was due to face a trial next month.
However, on Friday she pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening with a knife in a private place in St Andrew's Place, Melton, on the same date.
Michael Crimp, prosecuting, said the guilty plea to that charge was acceptable and there would be no need for a trial on the aggravated burglary charge and asked for it to be left on the court file.
Sentence on Hoey was adjourned until Monday, April 10 for a pre-sentence report.
Hoey was also remanded in custody until sentencing.
