An Ipswich woman who had tea with Queen Elizabeth II has marked her 100th birthday.
Pauline Harris celebrated her big day with family members and ActivLives Lunch Club members.
Mrs Harris, who was born on February 12 1923, had tea with the Queen before her historic reign in 1951 when they were in their 20s.
Her husband, Arthur, was Chief Petty Officer for the Royal Navy and worked with Prince Phillip when he was captain of the ship.
Mrs Harris had multiple celebrations for her birthday, one with those at St Mary at Stoke Church in Ipswich, and another on her birthday with family members.
She received a big bunch of flowers and chocolates to celebrate the day, as well as a two-course meal and a cake.
Not only did she receive her 100th birthday card from King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, but also an Apostolic Blessing from the Pope.
She thoroughly enjoyed the day, and thanked everyone for their good wishes and presents.
