Would you like to take part in a competition that celebrates the Ipswich's heritage and win £500?
All About Ipswich and Ipswich Borough Council have launched the 'My Ipswich Photography Competition'.
The competition opens on Monday February 20 for local people to submit their photography in up to four categories: Ipswich town centre – buildings, Ipswich town centre – people, Ipswich Waterfront – buildings and Ipswich Waterfront – people.
The competition closes on Friday March 31 and the winners will be announced on April 4.
The winner of each category will receive a £500 Ipswich Gift Card and four runners-up will receive a £250 Ipswich Gift Card.
The first 300 submissions receive a £20 Ipswich Gift Card.
Entrants can submit a photograph in each category via an online form available at www.allaboutipswich.com.
David Ellesmere of Ipswich Borough Council said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for people to share what they love about Ipswich and what makes it such a great place to live, work and visit.”
Chris Barnard of Ipswich Central added: "The Ipswich Gift Card is also a great prize that can be spent in over 70 local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, pubs, theatres and attractions."
