Ipswich Town fans are being encouraged to take part in celebrations to honour legendary manager Sir Bobby Robson.

Saturday, February 18, marks the 90th birthday of the former Ipswich manager.

Sir Bobby was manager of the club from 1969 to 1982, leading Ipswich to FA Cup and UEFA Cup wins in 1978 and 1981.

He passed away in 2009 after battling cancer, at the age of 76.

To mark his birthday, Town have announced a number of special ways to honour Sir Bobby at their home game against Forest Green Rovers.

As the teams walk out of the tunnel, Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' will play, which was Sir Bobby's favourite song.

Fans are also being encouraged to wear kits from the 1978 and 1981 eras.

Kieran McKenna will wear a badge for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation on his jacket during the game and the club has sent a flag to Newcastle United's St James' Park for a display the Premier League club are planning for their game against Liverpool.

Fans are also being encouraged to clap during the 78th, 81st and 90th minute of the match, to mark the trophy wins and his birthday.
