A mum-of-three from Claydon, who is a keen postbox crochet artist, surprised her neighbours with a Valentine’s Day design.
Lisa Wylie, who has been decorating her village with beautiful toppers for the past year, crocheted a special one to remind people not to forget their loved ones.
She said: “This is my first topper of 2023 to celebrate St Valentine's Day and maybe to remind a few people on their way into the shops to pick up a card.
“The topper features a heart shaped arch covered in roses, carnations and daisies with a lacework heart suspended that swings in the breeze.
“Front and centre are a pair of swans, they are a great representation of long-lasting love as they find their true love and mate for life.
“The rainbows are for pride to represent all forms of love.
“I will leave this topper in place for the rest of February and have a challenging spring topper planned for March that I'm really excited about. I think I'll name it 'Dawn chorus'.”
