Ipswich Regent Theatre has announced it's 2023 pantomime - and it's a classic.
Enchanted Entertainment is returning to the town's theatre on St Helen's Street this Christmas, and have revealed that this year's performance will be Sleeping Beauty.
There will be 26 performances from December 15 to 31, 2023, including a schools-only performance on Friday December, 15, at 10.30am.
Councillor Sophie Connelly, Ipswich Borough Council portfolio holder for culture and customers, said: “I’m excited to reveal that this year’s Christmas pantomime at the Ipswich Regent Theatre will be the much-loved fairy tale Sleeping Beauty.
"It’s a true classic that will appeal to everyone, with early bird discount on tickets booked before March 12.”
Producer Guy Pascall added: “We’ve already had a production meeting with the management team at the theatre and we’re planning a truly dazzling pantomime.”
The company says it promises to be a family pantomime with plenty of jokes and audience participation, and engaging sets and costumes.
A limited number of early bird £15 tickets are available for all performances, including Christmas Eve, and audiences can save £5 on the top two ticket prices until midnight on March 12, 2023.
Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Monday, February 27, 2023 and can be booked online at: www.ipswichtheatres.co.uk
