A stretch of Foxhall Road in Ipswich will be closed tonight.
Beginning at 7pm on Wednesday, Suffolk Highways will be carrying out pothole repairs works in the busy road.
The closure will be in place from Pearson Road to Chilton Road.
A diversion route takes drivers along the A1189, A1156, Derby Road, Foxhall Road and vice versa.
The road will reopen at 11.45pm.

At 7.30pm on Wednesday, a portion of Fore Street in the town centre will also be closed.
From the B1075 until the A1022, the road will be blocked off as kerbing work takes place, Suffolk Highways has confirmed.
A diversion route for northbound traffic will follow the A1156 and Upper Orwell Street.

The diversion route for southbound traffic takes drivers along the B1075, Foundation Street and the A1022.
The road will reopen at 11.45pm.
