A 10-week project is set to end on Saturday with a concert, headlined by an artist who has supported Ed Sheeran.
Tune Up, a project run by Ipswich dedicated music venue, The Smokehouse, will end with a concert showcasing four local artists, including Caswell, who won a national competition to support The Shape of You singer.
Tune Up is a National Lottery Community Funded project, where a group of 16-25-year-olds learn the fundamentals of event production, programming, administration and marketing.
These youngsters are now putting on this concert in the 300-capacity Ipswich venue, The Baths.
Project coordinator and one of the tutors, Caitlin Whittaker said: "The young people are very excited.
"This is the first gig they have put on, and they have definitely seen the challenges that can come with putting a gig on, but that has been a good thing for this group.
"We are also really excited as well to have Caswell headlining with such a strong lineup as well."
Caswell supported Ed Sheeran for his last night of his tour in 2019 at Chantry Park.
She also has had one of her songs reach almost 500,000 streams on Spotify and recently released The Lights, with the music video filmed at The Baths.
She said: "I think this is a really amazing project.
"I've met the young people and they are really enthusiastic and curious about how music works, which is really great."
Along with Caswell, will be 19-year-old indie-alternative singer/songwriter Gabby Rivers and her band, four-piece sister-fronted band Three Years Younger and indie-pop sibling duo, Esme Emerson.
The gig is part of a week-long national celebration of grassroots venues called Independent Venue Week.
Brighten The Corners are planning to do more projects like this in the future and encourage young people to get in contact if they wish to take part in the growing Suffolk music scene.
Tickets can be found here with doors opening at 7 pm.
