One set of roadworks is causing severe delays on an busy stretch of road on the way to and from Ipswich.
At 7.10pm on Monday, Anglian Water began work on the A1214 at Bell Lane in Kesgrave.
This route connects the A12 at Martlesham to the east side of Ipswich.
Multi-way traffic signals were put in place while utility repair and maintenance work takes place throughout the week.
As a result, some drivers have experienced significant delays on their journeys, forcing road users to take alternate routes to reach their destination.
However, the end date is in sight for this set of work.
According to one.network, the temporary traffic control signals will be lifted just before midnight on Friday, leaving the road clear by the weekend.
