A much-loved Ipswich Chinese takeaway is planning on reopening its restaurant which has been closed for 15 months.
My Chinese in Norwich Road will be reopening its eat-in area next month.
Owner Felicia Siow said the reopening of the restaurant will help cover the rising energy and food costs.
Mrs Siow said she is excited to be reopening the restaurant but a date has not yet been announced.
She added: "We are happy to be reopening.
"The restaurant closed 15 months ago because of Covid and staffing problems.
"We are still looking for another chef but at the moment we have one."
The owners are carrying out a refurbishment in the restaurant area for the reopening.
There will be a cook-to-order all-you-can-eat buffet at the restaurant which will be open from 5pm to 10pm between Tuesdays and Sundays.
The restaurant, which is very popular with the people of Ipswich, has a team of five staff including the owners.
