A number of floral tributes have been left in Ipswich town centre after an 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed.
A huge police cordon was put in place in Ipswich town centre at about 3.30pm on Tuesday after police were called to reports of a serious assault.
Overnight Suffolk police confirmed that an 18-year-old man died in a "brazen" attack.
A number of floral tributes have now been laid outside shops along the street during the course of Wednesday afternoon.
One message to the 18-year-old said: "We all love you. We will meet again some day bro."
Candles have also been lit in memory of the teenager.
Police are still searching for two male suspects who they believe are involved in the assault.
One suspect headed towards Providence Street and the other suspect was seen to be heading towards the Cornhill.
No further details have been released at this time.
Police units, armed officers and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service were in attendance.
The cordon was reduced on Wednesday morning.
The attack comes after 16-year-old Harley Barfield died after being stabbed in Haverhill last week.
A section 60 which grants officers additional powers to stop and search was put in place across Ipswich.
That ended at 5pm today.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Connick said on Tuesday night: “This was a brazen attack in the town centre which will have caused great distress to anyone who witnessed it.
"Whilst enquiries are at an early stage, we believe this to be a targeted attack."
