Works to fix a recurring flooding problem in a busy Ipswich road are set to take place later this month.
Sproughton Road will be closed between Monday, January 30 and Friday, February 3 while Suffolk Highways carries out essential drainage works.
On Tuesday, the road was closed as a result of flooding as a result of heavy rainfall.
Sproughton Road regularly floods after heavy rainfall, with the road being closed on a number of occasions due to standing water.
Repairs to surface water drainage infrastructure are designed to prevent further flooding in the area.
