A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a Suffolk mum-of-two who died after being stabbed in her home in Australia.
Queensland Police received reports at around 11.30pm on Boxing Day of an incident at an address in Whitfield Crescent.
A spokesman said a man and woman allegedly disturbed two people inside their home and a "scuffle" broke out on the front porch.
The two intruders fled on foot.
Emergency services attempted to treat the 41-year-old woman, confirmed as Emma Lovell, who later died as a result of a fatal stab wound.
The 43-year-old man, her husband Lee Lovell, was treated for a non-life threatening stab wound and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
He has since been released from hospital.
The couple, who have two children, are originally from Suffolk.
Following a police investigation, four teenagers were located nearby, just before 4am on December 27.
All four were taken into custody.
Two 17-year-old boys have both been charged with one count each of murder, attempted murder and entering a dwelling with intent in company.
Both have been denied police bail and are due to appear in the Brisbane Childrens Court.
A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy continue to assist police with inquiries.
Tributes have begun to pour in for the family calling it a "horrible and senseless crime".
Christina Lofthouse, 41, first met Mrs Lovell at Farlingaye High School in Woodbridge - the pair have been best friends for 33 years.
"I only spoke with her yesterday morning," said Ms Lofthouse.
"This horrible and senseless crime has left a massive hole in our lives."
