A Suffolk school has applied for permission to renew its licence to hold weddings, citing a ‘stunning campus and chapel’ as reasons for choosing the venue.
The Royal Hospital School in Holbrook has applied to Suffolk County Council to renew the licence which would enable the school to provide facilities for ‘all sizes of wedding’.
The school’s website states that the venue provides ‘a cathedral-proportioned chapel, impressive historic reception rooms and stunning backdrop locations’.
Receptions of up to 120 guests can be catered for in the school’s Jellicoe Room, while the dining hall provides space for up to 400 guests.
Sophy Walker, director of marketing and communications at the school, said: “The Royal Hospital School has put in a renewal of wedding licence for people to get married at the school. We have a stunning campus, chapel and rooms suitable for all sizes of wedding.”
