Job candidates across the region are being sought by a national media group to support its 2023 growth plans.

LOCALiQ, which is part of the national newspaper publishing firm Newsquest, has created a range of jobs throughout Norfolk and Suffolk as part of its targeted investment into the area.

Its key regional publishing brands – Eastern Daily Press and East Anglian Daily Times – have several sales vacancies that offer office and hybrid working options.

The offices for these roles are based in Norwich and Ipswich.

Specialising in marketing and advertising, LOCALiQ helps small and medium-size businesses (SMEs) to promote their brands to target audiences across a range of platforms, particularly focusing on online through digital marketing.

The company said that, while candidates do not need to be media experts, it is looking for “enthusiastic, driven and career-hungry talent” to join its team.

It states that it offers a wide range of perks including a paid volunteering day, uncapped commission, and an online discount platform, along with in-house training and development programmes.

Vincent Boni, managing director of Newsquest Eastern Counties, said: “We are looking for brilliant creative talent to apply to us now, people who enjoy talking to and meeting with businesses across the region across a variety of sectors day to day.

“The job roles outlined are for media sales account managers and media sales account executives.

“We want new recruits to bring their personality, enthusiasm, and flair, and we partner with them offering a great career path and developmental programme tailored to individuals, so each person can thrive in their job working with their colleagues.”

Newsquest is one of the leading regional newspaper publishers in the UK that has more than 250 local news brands and magazines online and print.

Locally, the company owns the region’s biggest daily newspapers – Eastern Daily Press and East Anglian Daily Times – as well as many local publications across East Anglia.
