Ipswich's nationally recognised church choir is preparing to "knock" audiences' socks off at its festive concert.
A concert of Handel's famous 'Messiah' will be performed by the choir of St Mary le Tower and the Tower Sinfonia at Civic Church in Ipswich.
The choir is nationally recognised and has played on the BBC and Classic FM this year.
Soloists at the concert this year are all homegrown, with the choir featuring many young people from Suffolk.
The vicar, the Reverend Tom Mumford, said: "I cannot wait for this.
"The Messiah is one of those spine-tingling concerts that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
"It's a real crowd-pleaser, basically synonymous with Christmas and is exactly what we all need to give us a bit of cheer this year.
"What makes me especially proud though is the young people that are taking on the big parts - they will knock your socks off."
The director of music at the church, Chris Borrett, said: "I am delighted this concert will showcase the talent in our town, both collectively as a choir, and those singing solos."
Tickets for the concert on December 10, cost £15 and can be found here.
