An 18-year-old man has been charged with dealing cocaine and heroin in Ipswich after police raided a home in London.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, on behalf of Suffolk police’s Serious Crime Disruption Team, arrested a man in London on Wednesday in relation to drug dealing offences in Ipswich.
A quantity of what is believed to be class A drugs was found in the property.
The man was taken to Martlesham police investigation centre for questioning.
Kaide Lewis, from Wayside, London, was subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Suffolk Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
The arrest came as part of Operation Orochi – an operation set up between Suffolk police and the Metropolitan Police to tackle county lines drug dealing that operates between London and Suffolk.
