Plans for 52 new homes in Badwell Ash have been submitted to council planners.
Mulberry Homes' project would see the properties built on land east of Hunston Road.
The scheme recieved outline planning permission in 2020 - with this latest application putting forward the finer details of the plans ready for a start on site.
The site was originally agricultural - but was then used as a sand and gravel quarry for around 10 years during the 1990s - before being infilled.
There would also be 18 affordable homes built as part of the scheme, as well as 131 parking spaces for residents, and a further 13 for visitors.
The planning statement for the project, prepared by James Bailey Planning, says Mulberry's project "has been sensitively designed to a high quality, in keeping and respectful of the surrounding residential development in Badwell Ash".
The plans have a determination deadline of February 15, 2023.
