The air ambulance was called to an incident in Ipswich this morning before a person was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Kildare Avenue at about 7.45am today (November 23).
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said two ambulances, a senior paramedic, the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, and the British Association for Immediate Care were sent to the medical emergency.
"One patient in a serious condition was extracted and taken, by road, to Ipswich hospital for further assessment and treatment," the spokesman added.
Fire crews were also called to the scene.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to help the ambulance service with the extraction of a person from a home in Kildare Avenue.
