The holder of a drug line was arrested after police raided a house in Ipswich town centre, it has been alleged.
Officers went to a house in Little Gipping Street on June 25 this year in connection with a county lines drug investigation and arrested a man in the house, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
The man, who didn’t live at the premises, was found in possession of £600 cash, a mobile phone, a small wrap of cocaine as well as a separate amount of 4.5g, said Richard Potts, prosecuting.
During the raid officers also found two “Zombie” knives hidden behind a skirting board in the kitchen.
Analysis of the phone resulted in the “Kenny” drug line being identified and showed that the personal number of Abdulkadir Ali who lived in London and has no obvious connections with Ipswich was from time to time in Ipswich at the same time as the Kenny line.
“They moved around very close to one another,” said Mr Potts.
He said there was evidence of contact between Ali and the man arrested in the house in Little Gipping Street and as a result of that Ali was arrested.
Ali, of Ditton Road, Southall, Greater London, has denied being concerned in the supply of cocaine between December 7 last year and June this year.
The trial continues.
