An Ipswich singer will follow in the footsteps of music icons as he takes to the stage of a historic London venue just 10 years after his first gig at an Ipswich pub.
Ashton Jones is to perform at the world-famous London Palladium, performing a selection of classic 70s, 80s and 90s soul songs.
The Palladium stage has previously hosted the likes of The Beatles, Marvin Gaye and The Rolling Stones.
Mr Jones will perform on Friday, November 25 in the 'Greatest Hits Radio Live' concert, hosted by Spandau Ballet member Martin Kemp and Kate Thornton.
Mr Jones said: "It's almost 10 years to the day that I had my first ever gig at the Spread Eagle pub in Ipswich, so to now be asked to perform at one of the world's most legendary theatres is a dream come true."
Mr Jones and his band, The Ashton Jones Project, released their first album in 2019, with one of their songs 'Good Thing Guaranteed' reaching over 700,000 streams on Spotify.
Also performing at the London Palladium will be 80s icons Howard Jones and Heather Small, as well as the cast of west-end musicals Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, and Get Up Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical.
The concert wraps up a busy year for Mr Jones, who has featured in several TV and radio commercials and performed around the world.
Despite all the success, Mr Jones still regularly performs in his home town, with gigs at Cult Bar and The Duke of York in recent years, and has also performed at Ipswich Music Day in the past.
Mr Jones added: "I fully plan on using every inch of that big stage to bring some energetic soul and funk to the London Palladium.
"We're going to raise the roof for sure."
