A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A12 outside of Ipswich.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway between the Copdock Interchange and Capel St Mary at about 6.45am on Thursday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed lanes one and two of the A12 were closed as a result of the crash.
Vehicles were still able to slowly pass the crash using the slip road while emergency services attended the scene.
Police later said the motorcyclist had been taken to hospital for treatment.
The motorcyclist's condition is not known at this time.
Both lanes of the A12 have now reopened, the police spokesman added.
