The eastbound lane of the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich has reopened after a crane was deployed to remove the wreckage from a car crash on the A14.
Suffolk Constabulary has reported that a van towing a trailer heading eastbound ploughed into to the central reservation after a collision with a Peugeot near the A137 junction at around 11.40am.
Police diverted traffic through Wherstead while a crane cleared the vehicle debris, which is also littering the westbound lane, slowing traffic in both directions.
No one has been reported injured in the accident.
